At blue rose LLC, we believe in partnering with worthy causes that give back to the community, the nation, and our world. Since June 2012, we have been partnered with the Colon Cancer Alliance non-profit organization.
This cause is extremely close to our hearts. Our founder's uncle, Robert (Uncle Bob), was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in 2000. Colon cancer is 90% curable if detected and treated early. On September 16, 2001, just days after 9/11, Robert passed away at the early age of 48.
In memoriam of Uncle Bob, blue rose will be dedicating the "bob bracelet" to him. The gold and navy blue colors in this 14k gold filled evil eye bracelet represent the colors of the Colon Cancer Alliance. By wearing evil eye jewelry, it is said that you are protecting yourself from injury or bad luck, absorbing all of the negative influences and energies surrounding you. It will also aid you to achieve such virtues as good health, happiness, prosperity, love, and friendship.
With every bob bracelet purchased, $5 will be donated to the Colon Cancer Alliance. Your contribution will provide funding to support CCA's research, educational and patient support activities. Your support will help raise awareness about this horrible disease and support the CCA in fulfilling their vision: a world free of colon cancer.
